I’ve been playing hockey since I was 3. I started pushing around a cone at Metro City Ice Rick, in a mall in Istanbul, Turkey. It wasn’t until I moved to New York, in Kindergarten, that I even saw a Zamboni.
That year, I joined the Browning Hockey Team. It was my first team ever. I loved the Wednesday bus to City Ice, playing games at Lasker Rink (though it was a little cold), becoming good friends with my teammates, & the father/son hockey trip to Boston.

ABOUT US
Last season, I joined the Mamaroneck Mite Tigers. I was new to the area, but the boys and girls helped me feel welcome. I loved that we won the Turkey shootout in overtime, like in the movies. We have a Hockey celebration dinner with the whole league - parents, coaches, teams & players & a Rice Krispy Cup street hockey game.
Being able to play with great people has shown me that a great team has players that think about the good of the team, & not themselves. As part of my goal to be a good athlete, & an even better teammate, I started Huddy the Hockey Buddy to bring the best of the game everywhere I can!
